No parking . . .

Lines in a local parking lot. Who says you have to go far to create interesting photographs? ©Carol Leigh

I like it. Bold and clear.

Brett Weston suggests: "Anything more than 500 yds from the car just isn't photogenic."

He *was* a wonderful photographer, but I might tend to disagree. There are a thousand subjects near and far. My work is figuring out how to see them. This is just one more to be on the lookout for.

Thank you, Sir James. So many subjects, so few eyeballs. -- Carol Leigh

Seeing... What a simple image showing so much... From depicting the limits and boundaries we have when we park, to simple perspectives of composition, diagonals and such... Great to find images that do not require going too far away and/or that do not require a perfect day. Very creative Carol!

Stephan, thank you so much for putting into words what I could not. Actually, you make me sound better than I am. I saw this in a parking lot and simplistically thought, "Cool yellow diagonal stuff. Gotta be SOMEthing here!" Click. -- Carol Leigh
