Queen Anne's lace

A few days ago I picked a Queen Anne's lace flower, put it in a bottle of water, took a few photos and then walked away. I went into the studio this evening thinking I'd find a flower all wilted and bent over and yucky. But nope, it's still looking good, so I took a few more.

This shot had a light and airy feeling to begin with, but I enhanced the lightness in Photoshop to reflect not only how the flower looked, but how I felt about it ("It's alive! It's alive, I say!")
