Before walking onto the bridge to photograph boats, I took a few quick photos of the architectural detail on the north bridge abutment. The bridge was built in 1936 and the sweeping Art Deco details are fantastic to photograph. You can click here for more information about this bridge, which, by the way, just received a grant so that it will be lighted at night. Hoo ha! Should be done next year, I hear. ©Carol Leigh

Every morning I tune into your blog. I am continually blown away by your enthusiasm, creative photographs, and the example you set for others. You teach and inspire by example. Good on yah!! "Don't go where the path may lead, go where there is no path and leave a trail." Thanks, -your most ardent lurker.
Be still, my heart! Sam, you old dog, you! How wonderful to know that you are always there. And now I will always think of you when I post something. But uh-oh, now I'm gonna be thinking, "is my stuff up to par?" You have such high standards, my friend. Much love, Carol.
Thanks for them kind words, but shucks ma'am there ain't no flies on you.
Sure ain't. There's a fan club lurking out here. Morning coffee and Carol!
