A large tree washed ashore and was resting on the beach. I liked the rich colors and the texture of the bark, so zoomed in tight using a 70-200mm lens to create an abstract image that has no sense of scale. I took an overview as well, to help you see what I saw. ©Carol Leigh

I never would have guessed this was a tree. I thought it was some type of large boulder on the sand, but one with kind of a pumice-y texture. I like the colors including the blue in the sand.
